·         Bhadra water : Upper Bhadra Project supply to Gonur Lake.

·         Distance: The trial flow was about 164 km from Bhadra Reservoir to Gonur site.

·         Objective: To supply water to drought-hit Chitradurga and help some lakes en route

·         Releasing the Water: The reported trial flow was releasing about 700 cusecs of water daily.

·         Importance: Bhadra water is hoped to facilitate irrigation and also address the issue of drinking water woes in the drought-prone region.
