  • Recent Update (8 October 2026): The third International Bharat 6G Symposium was inaugurated in New Delhi. The alliance exchanged five MoUs and released nine working-group white papers.

Objectives

  • Indigenous R&D: Promote domestic research, innovation and development of 6G technologies.
  • Global Leadership: Make India a front-line contributor to the design, development and deployment of 6G by 2030.
  • Standardisation: Strengthen India’s participation in international 6G standards.
  • Industry–Academia Collaboration: Connect research institutions, startups, industry and government.
  • Digital Inclusion: Promote ubiquitous, intelligent and secure connectivity.
