- Focus on learning objectives first: Teachers still need to ask what the learning objective is, what the child must gain understanding of and where technology can add actual value.
- Smooth technology integration: In certain schools, children can use iPads provided by the school to teach and learn with technology as part of an integrated approach.

Need to preserve independent learning

- Restrictions: If the point is to create humans who can contribute on their own, more serious restrictions might be necessary in the amount of AI children are allowed to engage with.
AI and students’ thinking abilities
- Dependency risk: AI impacts the thought process depending on how it is utilized.
- Problematic use: If a kid types up homework stuff into ChatGPT, copies and pastes the answer then submits, that kid is not using their brain.
- Loss of learning : If AI provides the answer to a fractions or problem-solving question, and only delivers the right response immediately, there is no struggle, not even trial and error, logical thinking nor satisfaction of finally nailing the answer.
